The Animation Supplies Professional Animation Stage is expertly crafted from beautiful Birch Ply. The top of the stage measures 612mm x 612mm and the perforated galvanised steel sheet measures 600mm x 600mm. The holes in the sheet steel are 5mm in diameter. The stage is 240mm high and features routered access holes on all four sides. It is supplied fully assembled.

Unlike other similar products on the market, the Animation Supplies Animation Stage has been designed with the professional animator in mind. It has been designed so that the stages can be easily bolted together to form much larger Stop Motion Sets. The stage also includes additional internal plinths which can be used to either clamp or screw the stage securely to your Animation Table. This ensures that it will not move un-expectantly during your shoot.

Perforated steel is the ideal material for use as the base of a Stop Motion set. Magnetic Tie-Downs retain much more of their strength when passing through a perforated sheet of steel, as opposed to a solid sheet. The holes are also very useful for Threaded Tie-Down should your production require it.
